SAF is a company in the business network of Guijuelo with more than 23 years of experience.
It has developed its international activity through the commercialisation of products for human consumption and the valorisation of animal fats, with a clear objective — to achieve a sustainable economy that turns what has always been linear into a circular model.
SAF is integrated within Grupo Corral, a company held by the Corral family and by the private equity fund Magnum Industrial Partners since July 2022.
Among the main objectives of the group is the development of the economy and business network of Guijuelo, as well as the rest of the province of Salamanca — always driven by constant growth and the development of new business lines, as well as job creation and territorial expansion within the Iberian Peninsula.
Grupo Corral integrates the entire production process and has more than five lines for the transformation and valorisation of organic animal by-products dedicated to obtaining raw materials such as fats and proteins.
From these raw materials, flours are obtained for the pet food market, fish farms, feed, and fertilisers, as well as fats intended for the biofuel market.
Additionally, and in order to offer a comprehensive service to clients and suppliers, Grupo Corral has logistic assets with a fleet of medium and heavy-duty vehicles, a logistics centre, and a service slaughterhouse located in Béjar town.
Currently, the company is immersed in an expansion process, with which it plans to extend its infrastructure and productive capacity, thus increasing the volume available for processing in production plants and maintaining its permanent commitment to sustainability and the environment.
